Training

Trainings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 1900, and the fourth Saturday of each month at 0800. 

Additional training is available through the Rhode Island Fire Academy. 

Certifications our members hold include:
NFPA 1901 - Firefighter 1 & 2
NFPA 1002 - Apparatus Driver/Pump Operator
Hazardous Materials - Awareness Level
Hazardous Materials - Operations Level
Hazardous Materials - Technician Level
EMT - Basic
EMT - Cardiac
NFPA 1041 - Fire Instructor
NFPA 1021 - Fire Officer
Rapid Intervention Team (FAST Co.) Operations
Incident Safety Officer
Rope Rescue I
Incident Command System

In addition, some of our firefighters are Pro-Board Certified (nationally accredited) in these areas.
